CDCP Dentist in Calgary NE
The Port Dental Clinic is a registered Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP) provider. If you have a CDCP member card, we bill the plan directly, so you only pay any co-payment or difference at your visit. We are open 7 days a week and accepting new patients.
Who Qualifies for the CDCP
The CDCP is a federal plan for Canadian residents who do not have dental insurance. To qualify, you must:
- Have an adjusted family net income under $90,000.
- Not have access to dental insurance through a job, a pension or a family member's plan.
- Have filed your tax return in the previous year, and be a Canadian resident for tax purposes.
Children, adults and seniors can all apply if they meet these rules. Check your eligibility and apply on canada.ca.
What You Pay With CDCP
Your share depends on your adjusted family net income:
| Adjusted family net income | CDCP pays | Your co-payment |
|---|---|---|
| Under $70,000 | 100% | 0% |
| $70,000 to $79,999 | 60% | 40% |
| $80,000 to $89,999 | 40% | 60% |
Co-payments are a percentage of the CDCP fee. The plan reimburses dentists from its own fee schedule, so some treatments may also have a balance above the CDCP amount. We tell you about any extra cost before treatment starts. Source: CDCP coverage, canada.ca.
